ABOUT US

Our business first opened as Dansk cafe in January 2017. A cosy and relaxing space, embracing the Danish concept of ‘hygge’. A place for customers to get away and enjoy the simple pleasures of life with friends and family. Our goal is to offer expertly crafted and locally roasted coffee, delicious homemade cakes, baked goods and fresh savoury menu items, all in a pleasant environment where our customers feel welcome and comfortable. 

Since opening our doors, our cafe has grown in popularity; to the point where we quickly outgrew our original space. In order to meet the growing demand, we began building an extension, more than doubling our capacity which also included a bar. 

With a fully fitted bar available for private hire, pop up evenings and other events in the pipeline, we felt it needed a new name, one that embodies all of our offerings – Fredericks, the name of our much loved and sorely missed grandfather. 

Despite the name change, Fredericks will continue to uphold our original core principles and continue to strive to make every customer experience memorable.
